Growing up on the family’s farm outside of Wilmington in the Mid North of South Australia, taught Emily from an early age about working hard. Her first after school job was as a “Rouse About” and provides her services even still if called upon.

Emily’s professional career has been majorly spent working as a business advisory and tax accountant one of Adelaide’s leading firms of accountants and advisors, where she had the opportunity to work for a broad range of clients in a wide assortment of industries. Using her ability to listen and understand issues from a client perspective, Emily has learnt how to focus on what’s important to each client, to achieve the best outcome for their unique situation .

With post graduate qualifications as a Chartered Accountant (CAANZ) and a Chartered Tax Advisory (Taxation Institute Australia), and being a Registered Tax Agent, Emily has invested her time into building a solid skills set, which she loves applying to her client work to assist clients navigating the challenges faced in business.

Emily has embraced new technologies from early on, holding her Xero Advisor Certification qualification for over 10 years, but is also competent in a wide range of software packages including MYOB, QuickBooks, Reckon and Cashflow Manager.

After many years working in Adelaide’s busy CBD, the decision to sea-change, moving to Port Pirie in the Mid North of South Australia, came easily.
